DocToHtml is a plug-in for MS Word text processor, that converts documents (for instance, with .doc, .rtf, .txt extensions) to HTML 4.01 format. DocToHtml does not use redundant and non-standard tags and produces readable html-code of small size. The resulting HTML is clean, small, W3C standards-compliant, CSS-formatted and user-customizable. Also you can batch process multiple documents via GUI interface or in command line mode.

Among other features are:

* Advanced image processing, you specify output image format: GIF, PNG or JPEG
* You can specify metatags to insert to resulted HTML, or you can override values from original MS Word document
* You can include links to external CSS files, or you can include external CSS
* You have full low-level control over resulted HTML code: whether or not to insert optional end tags, quotes, spaces, linebreaks, and some other settings
* MS Word fields can be converted to JavaScript scripts
* You can execute specific programs on the resulted HTML upon end of conversion. For example, it can be HTML validator.
* You can create and save conversion projects with list of files and folders to be converted, with separate conversion settings for each of them.
